Russian fashion designer Aliona Kononova, founder of Milan-based brand MOË, presents her new collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Asymmetric, destructured silhouettes and soft tones against backdrops of chromatic movement that blend painting, illustration and photography.
Now at her sixth collection, Aliona confirms her flair for the experimental, mixing casual elegance with the futuristic luxury of the accessories (her forte): clutch-bracelet and purse "1 2", brooches and headpieces.
Born in the Soviet Union and relocated to Milan to study at IED, after a series of competitions, internships and jobs (among which at Salvatore Ferragamo and Denis Simachev), in 2009 Aliona founds her label MOË in Milan.
Behind her brand there isn’t a team dedicated to fashion, but a web of collaborators and artists that represented the label in 2011 also at the 54th Biennale of Venice - International Art Exposition.
